What started with an idea became a joint project and an example of friendship and cohesion. A group of friends from alcove achieved its big common goal at the beginning of September: after 20 years they ended their last stage on the European long -distance hiking trail E6 from Lüneburg to Travemünde on the Baltic Sea. They hiked more than 3000 kilometers from south to north through Europe.

“In the beginning, nobody believed that we really can do it,” says Otto Bruckner, who documented the tours and recorded photographically.
But year after year, the group broke up for a one -week tour – with up to 30 friends, backpack and a lot of motivation.
