Andreas Döllerer from the pleasure worlds in Golling in Salzburg is one of the best chefs in Austria and known for his “Cuisine Alpine”, which focuses entirely on local products. Sören Herzig is one of the young creative people who wants to “surprise” his guests in his “Herzig” restaurant in the 15th district of Vienna with extraordinary dishes and taste experiences, as he tells the OÖN in an interview.
Both are masters of their field and now present some of their favorite dishes in a joint cookbook that the Austria Salinen will publish. What connects them? “Of course the spice, more precisely the Bad Ischler Gourmet salt, Salzart ‘, Austria’s answer to Fleur de Sel,” said the presentation on the roof terrace of the “Herzig” in Vienna. The recipes are selected, but not easy and therefore more “for experts”. Or, as Sören Herzig says: “Perfect to get inspiration or to raise his culinary art to the next level.”
Competition
The book is only offered for sale in six months, the OÖN is already giving away five copies on news.at/gewinnpiele.
Participation is possible until next Thursday, 12 p.m.
