Polytec founder does not leave good hair at the metal degree

There are 1100 metal companies in Austria. They are traditionally the first to negotiate the collective contracts in autumn.

There were many positive reactions to the quick agreement of the metal in the collective agreement negotiations – also from industry. The actual wages and salaries increase by 1.41 percent on November 1 and thus significantly below the relevant inflation (2.8 percent). That is a strong signal of the social partnership, it is said.

A well -known entrepreneur from Upper Austria sees it differently: Friedrich Huemer. The founder and partner of the listed automotive supplier Polytec in Hörsching sees “no success”. He also wrote this to Christian Knill, chairman of the metal -technical industry association.
