The Steinbach Black Wings started in the Bundesliga exactly a quarter ago. The away game in Innsbruck on September 29 marks the beginning of an incredible journey. Within three years, the team, who played in the spring in the national league (second highest division), became an Austrian champion.

This made it possible in particular eleven players who moved from the bankruptcy Feldkirch to Linz in the summer 2000: Patrick Schneider, Roland Divis, Michael Lampert, Wolfgang Strauss, Raimund Divis, Markus Peintner, Gerhard Puschnik, Bernd Schmidle, Philipp Lukas, Rick Nashheim and Mark Szücs.
