The police in Ried im Innkreis are currently dealing with a curious case of bodily harm. On Saturday, two friends (17 and 19 years old) from the Ried im Innkreis district met a young man who invited them to a house party. Together they drove with him to the party in Taiskirchen im Innkreis.
When the party was in full swing with ten to 15 guests present, another previously unknown man suddenly picked up super glue and sprayed the glue on the 17-year-old’s arm. He then pressed the teenager’s arm directly over her 19-year-old friend’s mouth.
The two young women were able to free themselves from each other, but the super glue had already dried and had stuck the 19-year-old’s lips together, and she could no longer open her mouth. Another woman – also a guest at the party – brought the two back to Ried to their vehicle. From there, the two drove to the Sisters of Mercy hospital, where the 19-year-old was admitted because of her lip injury.
The Aurolzmünster police are asking for information about the incident and the unknown man by calling 059133/4242.
