The accident occurred shortly before 6.30 p.m. when the soil processing machine or the chopper stopped due to a defect. The young man wanted to repair the machine and was pulled in the front area of the chopper with both arms to the upper arm.

The volunteer fire brigades Pupping and Hinzenbach were alerted at 6:35 p.m. Fortunately, the rapid intervention of the emergency services could prevent worse things. The firefighters made enough space with wedges and lifting cushions, so that the rescue workers could finally free the trapped arms.
