Tributes to the victims
At 06:29 on Tuesday, local time – exactly the moment when Hamas attacks began in 2023 – relatives of the victims of the Nova festival kept a minute of silence in the place. More than 370 people were killed on that day, one of the most tragic points of the attack.
At night another ceremony in the “Plaza de los Haranes” by Tel Aviv, where manifestations are made weekly to demand the liberation of the captives. The act will be broadcast on national television. A conflict that left thousands of dead civilians
The attack of October 7, 2023 caused the death of 1,219 people – mostly civilians – and the kidnapping of 251 hostages by Hamas. Of these, 47 continue in captivity, including 25 who, according to the Israeli army, would have already died.
The Israeli military offensive in Gaza as retaliation has not ceased since then and left at least 67,160 deadalso mostly civilians, according to data from the Ministry of Health of Gaza – controlled by Hamas – that are considered reliable by the United Nations.
