Rear windows and windshields were partially smashed and bodies were also damaged, the Lower Austria State Police Directorate reported on Monday. The fruit was probably stolen and thrown out of a moving car.

According to the police, the property damage had been carried out between the evening and early morning hours from Monday last week until Saturday. Arbesthal, Scharndorf, Maria Ellend, Margareten am Moos, Wilfleinsdorf and the district town of Bruck an der Leitha itself were named as crime scenes. In one case, a house facade was also the target.
