Rescue, emergency doctors, police and members of three fire departments were on duty on Tuesday morning after a serious accident near Eschenau in the Hausruckkreis (Grieskirchen district): A 67-year-old was trapped between her car, a wooden barn and the ground in the garden of her house.

The pensioner had backed the car out of the garage and – as usual – got out again to close the gate manually. The blue Ford probably started moving itself and rolled over a sloping meadow before falling over a steep embankment towards a wooden barn. For an unknown reason, the woman ended up lying behind the car and between the rear, the barn and the ground.
Video recordings show the rescue operation:
His partner alerted the rescue team
The victim’s partner, who was setting off to do forest work in the tractor at the time, noticed the accident and alerted the rescue services. The Aubach, Eschenau and Neukirchen fire departments were alerted with the keyword “person under vehicle”.
They secured the accident vehicle with a winch and lifted it with air cushions to free the 67-year-old. The woman sustained such serious injuries that she had to be taken to the Wels Clinic, the police said in the afternoon.
