92 storage rooms measuring between one and twelve square meters can now be rented at Magerlstrasse 1 in Ried via the online system (deinstauraum.at). “We think that there is a market for this in Ried. Many people live in smaller apartments here, often even without basement rooms,” said company owner Anne Bauchinger and managing director Michael Bauchinger on a tour on Tuesday. “I actually don’t have a cellar myself, I’m probably the first customer,” said Anne Bauchinger with a smile. “We hope that the rental gets off to a good start and becomes a benefit for the city of Ried,” said the couple. Prices range between 25 and 209 euros per month. The hidden storage rooms are open daily between 6 a.m. and 10 p.m. and the area is equipped with extensive video surveillance.
