The central part of the third day of the trial was the video with the multi-hour adversarial questioning of those affected, which was played in the courtroom. The public was partially permitted to attend the video screening.
The person concerned was questioned as a witness as carefully as possible in the public prosecutor’s investigation. The statement was recorded. In the four and a half hour video, the teacher explained what happened to her. She described how she first became repeatedly intimate with a former student with his consent and was subsequently put under pressure by friends and acquaintances of the then 16-year-old with their knowledge of the sexual contacts.

“They talked a lot about their criminal activities,” said the person concerned. The group had bragged about criminal activities, one reported about dealing in drugs and weapons: “They bragged a lot about breaking in. They said they were a real gang with 70, 80 people. They intimidated me a bit.” At first they “didn’t threaten her directly. They told me I was one and they were many.” They “referred to themselves as a gang.”
“I was really afraid that I would be ruined”
The teacher had made herself vulnerable with her multiple sexual contacts with the 16-year-old. In particular, the three main defendants – a 15-year-old Iraqi, a 17-year-old Romanian and a 15-year-old Afghan – and another 17-year-old continued to harass her. According to her, the latter threatened her several times a day that he would make the relationship public and inform the school administration. “I was really afraid that I would be ruined at school,” the teacher said in her testimony, “I thought to myself that none of this could be true.”
