The final work is still underway before the Wimpassing leisure facility reopens on Friday at 2 p.m. after renovation and partial redesign. The park’s 40th anniversary and the 50th birthday of the neighboring “little FZA” in Albrechtstrasse Park are also being celebrated.
There are new attractions in the approximately 130,000 square meter area, including a bike motor skills park that invites you to enjoy riding and technique training. Also new is a streetball facility with seating, a fitness zone with calisthenics equipment and various new play equipment. Existing playgrounds were also renovated. The new 3,000 square meter off-leash dog park, located in an elevated, flood-proof area, will be completed soon.
