According to the ImmoScout24 survey, around every second (47 percent) employed person has the opportunity to work from home. In a regional comparison, the Viennese are able to do so more often than average (61 percent), while the opportunities in the West are below average. In Tyrol and Vorarlberg, only 37 percent can work from home, at least occasionally.
Some of those who work from home also reassess the importance of their own home. This runs through all age groups and all genders. This statement finds the most agreement among those who work 100 percent from home. Among them, eight out of ten have found it more important to feel comfortable in their own four walls.
For the trend study “The home is changing – living and working under one roof”, Integral market and opinion research conducted online surveys of 1,000 employed people aged 18 to 69 in November last year, representative of this target group.
