The Swiss mechanical engineering company is scaling back its business with Russia because of the war in Ukraine. This applies in particular to deliveries to Russia, Sulzer announced. The service business, which is operated entirely in the country itself, will be continued. Sulzer looks after infrastructure operators in the energy and water market, such as the power supply for hospitals, and wants to help ensure that the population can continue to use these services. In 2021, almost three percent of the group-wide orders will come from Russia. Sulzer employs around 300 people in the country. Sulzer is not represented in the Ukraine.
