Rocky Mountains – Through the wild heart of North America
Anita Burgholzer & Andreas Hübl follow the length of the mightiest mountain range in North America on bicycles, from Canada to the Mexican border. In between there are 5,000 adventurous kilometers on bumpy gravel roads, lonely hiking trails and impassable slopes. You marvel at wildly rugged mountains and glowing glaciers, cycle through endless forests and boundless prairies, climb high passes and immerse yourself in the monotonous solitude of the desert. On their way they meet warm-hearted “Trail Angels”, drink-loving dropouts and charismatic lateral thinkers. The sympathetic couple from Steyr gives a fascinating account of their adventurous bike tour through the grandiose wilderness of North America, of the simple life in the saddle, of ups and downs, physical challenges and exciting encounters.
