The College of VS Grein has decided to organize quick help for children and women in Ukraine itself and in the refugee camps of neighboring countries. In cooperation with Wolfgang Moser from the city pharmacy in Grein, packages with the most necessary aids were put together. These are to be transported to the Ukrainian border tomorrow, Saturday.
This aid delivery was financed by the proceeds of the school children’s Advent campaign, where they sold muffins baked by their parents. The teacher Monika Ring had the idea and was also responsible for the supervision. Incidentally, the amount donated by the elementary school was doubled by the city pharmacy.
In the past, such campaigns have already supported disabled children in Austria and a school in Africa. “Our school will continue to bring projects to life with the help of parents and the commitment of our school children and teachers, which will then help in a targeted, quick and unbureaucratic manner,” promises director Johannes Fraundorfer.
