Carpenter apprentices erected a tool shed for the tennis club

During their training, the apprentices from Holzbaumeiser Buchner from Unterweißenbach complete regular apprenticeship days. The team spirit is strengthened during sports activities – this year when visiting the climbing forest on the Hirschalm – and buildings are also built for charitable use. In that year, the apprentices built a tool shed for the tennis section from Königswiesen. The project was a good opportunity for the young carpenters to show what they can do. The equipment hut consists of a spruce wood construction, the outer formwork of larch wood.

The joint joinery and construction of the tool hut was above all a team-building event for the young craftsmen, says Buchner apprentice coach Philipp Katzenschläger: “It’s always a good thing to give apprentices responsibility for their own projects. As trainers, it made us happy to see how much energy and motivation our boys put into their work.”

Head of the tennis section, Franz Lindner, is full of praise for the apprentices: “It’s always nice to see that regional companies like master woodworker Buchner support the clubs. We cordially invite the Buchner apprentices to actively use our tennis court!”
