“Following the initiative of our president and our intensive diplomatic efforts, the foreign ministers of Russia and Ukraine have decided to meet with my participation” within the framework of the Antalya Diplomatic Forum, explained Cavusoglu in a tweet.
This will be Lavrov’s first trip abroad since Russia launched its offensive in Ukraine on February 24, which led to the imposition of heavy Western sanctions against its economy.
