Drug dealers dealt from home office during quarantine

A 21-year-old had sold at least 3.5 kilograms of the anesthetic ketamine and around half a kilogram of narcotics from October 2020 until November of the previous year. Even during a corona illness and the resulting official quarantine, he ran his illegal business from his home office and handed out the goods through the garden gate.

The consumption of the anesthetic ketamine, a drug that is mainly used in veterinary medicine, almost cost the 21-year-old his life. Friends had found the young man motionless and successfully resuscitated. His best friend at the time died in 2020 after excessive drug use. Even a past conviction for his dealings did not seem to make the locals rethink.

The accused has not confessed to the allegations made against him and was arrested on behalf of the Wels public prosecutor’s office. The investigators researched numerous customers who also have to reckon with a display.
