The Pegasus picks up speed. The list of applicants for the state’s most important business prize, which the OÖ Nachrichten and its partners are awarding for the 29th time this year, is getting longer every day. This year’s motto is “Invest in the future”.
The industrial pipeline and plant manufacturer Zauner from Wallern is hoping to win in the “Leading companies” category. The company was able to increase its operating performance last year to more than 200 million euros, which according to its own statements corresponds to an increase of 50 percent within two years. The new business areas of Zauner, such as production facilities for the manufacture of vaccines, battery factories and data centers, were responsible for the growth. The operational management of the plant manufacturer with 263 employees is held by Andreas Beck and Roman Zauner, whose father Manfred is the founder and majority owner of the company.
