When spreading liquid manure, a 55-year-old fell with his tractor several hundred meters over a steep pasture in a forest. The tractor may have been pulled over the embankment by the full manure tank, police reports. The man could no longer stop the tractor. Whether he jumped off or whether he was thrown out has not yet been clarified. Finally, the vehicle came to a stop between several trees without overturning. Two hikers noticed the serious accident around 4.30 p.m. and informed the rescue service and the landowner. The injured tractor driver was then taken to the Steyr Clinic by rescue helicopter. The Laussa, Oberdambach and Sand fire brigades were deployed to recover the tractor.
