Innviertler dominate Landesliga West

Innviertler dominate Landesliga West

After two corona-related cancellations of the spring championship, a second half of the season is finally on the agenda again. Next weekend, all lower house clubs will start the second half of the season again, some have already added their outstanding autumn games at the weekend. In the next three and a half months, the Rieder Volkszeitung and the Braunauer Warte will again report weekly on two pages about what is happening in the lower house of the districts of Ried, Braunau and Schärding.

State League West

Four Innviertler clubs are in the first places in the national league. UFC Ostermiething has the best starting position with a four-point lead over FC Andorf. SK Schärding and Schalchen can still have a say in the fight for promotion. The hit game of the first spring round takes place in Andorf on Saturday. There, the second meets the leader of the table and could catch up to one point if they win. With the match between the Braunau/Ranshofen syndicate and Schalchen, another exciting derby is on the agenda.

District League West

The Union Senftenbach has the best chances of promotion after the fall season. Martin Feichtinger’s squad will be the big favorite in the away game against the B team from regional division Gurten next Sunday. The derby between Munderfing and SK Altheim is about important points for staying up in the league. Second in the table Eggelsberg/M. expects to gain points in the game against Taiskirchen. The bottom of the table in Münzkirchen “must” be against Utzenaich, who is seventh in the table, otherwise the distance to the saving bank will increase.

1st class Southwest

Lochen and Neuhofen/I will fight for the title. Lochen is the favorite in the home game against Obernberg, as is Neuhofen for the Burgkirchners, who are at risk of relegation. Union Mehrnbach would like to remain in the top 3 places with a home win against St. Pantaleon. A tough away game awaits bottom-of-table Lohnsburg in Palting/Seeham.

1st Class Northwest

Riedau is already six points ahead of the competition in autumn and is therefore the number 1 candidate for promotion. In the home game against Rainbach, Riedau have planned the next three points. For St. Roman, the away game in Diersbach is about not losing touch with the saving midfield. Kopfing also needs a three in the away game in Waizenkirchen to continue in the promotion duel.

1st class Mid-West

Hohenzell goes into the second half of the season with a one-point lead. In any case, a complete success is planned for the opening away match at latecomers Peterskirchen. Eberschwang could – assuming a win in the home game against Rottenbach – work their way up to a single-digit place in the table. Pram also has good prospects of starting the second half of the season with a three-pointer. In the away game at taillight ESV Wels, the Pramers are the clear favourites.

2nd class West

With a 5-0 win against Treubach/R. title candidate Waldzell has already warmed up in the supplementary game at the weekend. The Waldzellers could (because they are not playing) be overtaken again at the weekend by their closest pursuer Riegerting. However, they first have to survive the difficult away game at third-placed Ampflwang. A classic is on the program in Mettmach. The “Saiga Hanser” are making guest appearances at the weekend. Pattigham/Pramet would like to keep up with the top 3 places with a full point win against Polling.

2nd Class West-North

With a lead of eleven points, Prambachkirchen should no longer be able to take the title! Behind them are nine clubs separated by just five points. Eggerding meets Schardenberg in the derby at the weekend, ATSV Schärding makes a guest appearance at tail light Michaelnbach.

2nd Class Southwest

Jeging, Schwand, Tarsdorf: These three teams will fight for the title in spring. Jeging has the best starting position. The league leaders will probably not let anything burn in the away game at bottom of the table Mauerkirchen. The top game of the second half of the season increases in Tarsdorf. The second in the table is a guest at the third party. St. Peter must at the penultimate Feldkirchen/M. line up Anything less than a “threesome” would be a disappointment. No easy task awaits the Uttendorfer Kicker in the away game at Pischelsdorf, fifth in the table.
