“Russian soldiers fired artillery shells on the city of Merefa, in the Kharkov region, around 0330 (0130 GMT) on Thursday. They destroyed a school and a cultural center, 21 people died and 25 were injured, including 10 in serious condition“, reported the regional prosecutor’s office on his Facebook account.

Also, at least six other people were killed by the launch of cluster bombs in a town about fifty kilometers north of the city of Kharkov, Kozacha Lopanthe mayor of the neighboring town of Derguatchi, Vyatcheslav Zadorenko, noted on Facebook.
The Ukrainian authorities accused Russia of “bombing the station, shops, pharmacies and other civilian buildings in the center of the town”, while the military infrastructure had not been damaged.
According to the regional prosecutor’s office, which published two photos of buildings damaged by the explosions in Merefa, the clearing of debris had already begun.
