T-Rex, Triceratops and Co. are already in the starting blocks: From April 14, the dinosaurs can be visited at Katzenberg Castle. Dinoland will be the largest primeval leisure attraction for families and dinosaur fans throughout Upper Austria and Lower Bavaria. Together with the “S´Innviertel Tourismus” the spectacle in the Innviertel should become a magnet for visitors in the border area.
The construction work is currently in full swing, from April 14 (Maundy Thursday) Dinoland will show itself from its most beautiful side. Tickets are already available at www.dino-land.at.
In a beautiful forest and meadow area of around 40,000 square meters, visitors can immerse themselves in the mysterious past of our planet. And not just for one season, Dinoland in the Katzenberg Castle Park is set to become a permanent family adventure park.
On their discovery tour through the extensive research area, families with children can embark on an eventful journey into a bygone geological era more than 200 million years ago with more than 70 life-size and extremely realistic dinosaurs, skeletons and fossils, which will be at home in the Katzenberg Castle Park from April 14th are.
Face to face with impressive colossuses such as the Tyrannosaurus Rex or the Triceratops through to the Stegosaurus, to name just a few of the most well-known primeval lizards. They tell interesting stories and will inspire young and old researchers alike. All models were manufactured true to the original under scientific guidance. Thanks to elaborate animatronics, some can even move deceptively real and make sounds.
Around 100,000 visitors have been inspired and fascinated by the dinosaurs at Tüßling Castle in the past two years. Now the success story of Dinoland is about to enter the next round.
In addition to the impressive exhibits, the adventure park also offers a varied and unusual hands-on program for all ages: In the Dinodrome, little visitors can do their rounds in dinosaur scooters, sit on life-size dinosaurs with the dinosaur riders and take part in the dinosaur rally win a personalized research pass. Exciting and instructive is the sifting out of treasures and the uncovering of fossils in the research camp, where the children become hobby archaeologists.

During the holidays in Bavaria and Upper Austria: Wednesday to Sunday, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Outside the holidays: Saturday and Sunday, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. (last admission at 3 p.m.).
Special opening days: April 18 (Easter Monday), May 4 (St. Florian), May 26 (Ascension Day), May 27 (bridge day), June 6 (Whitsun Monday).
