US military plane crashed during maneuvers in Norway – four dead

Norwegian Prime Minister Jonas Gahr Störe expressed his condolences to the relatives and comrades of the victims. “Our deepest sympathy goes to the families of the soldiers, relatives and comrades in their unit,” Störe wrote on Twitter.

The main part of the defense exercise began on Monday. The maneuver, in which numerous other NATO members are involved, is scheduled to end on April 1st. The main activities should first be on water and in the air. “Cold Response” takes place every two years in winter conditions in Norway. Around 30,000 soldiers from 27 NATO and partner countries are involved, including thousands of land, sea and air forces.
