Choreographer Peter Breuer reviews the life of Gabrielle Chasnel, who comes from a poor background. Under the stage name “Coco Chanel” she builds up a business empire in Paris. In 1909 she founded a hat studio in the Seine metropolis. During this time, she only designs fashion for herself and her friends. In 1915 she opened her first fashion house.
