Shortly before 1:00 a.m., the boy was on his way out of town on Alpenstraße and got caught up in a police check, which he initially wanted to avoid. The officers were still able to stop the car in which the child was driving, who of course does not yet have a driver’s license. The police officers then asked the boy to take an alcohol test, which showed a blood alcohol level of 0.86. The 13-year-old said his mother gave him the car keys to move the car. “We don’t know yet whether that’s true,” said a police spokeswoman.
In any case, the boy was already known to the police and the youth welfare office. In addition to the 13-year-old, the mother must also expect ads. Apart from the forbidden car ride, the child should of course not have consumed alcohol. And without supervision, it shouldn’t have been allowed to travel alone at this hour, according to the spokeswoman. A message was also sent to the youth welfare office.
