The 2-1 defeat against Bad Gleichenberg was the last straw for the regional soccer team WSC/Hertha.
After the Welser were still waiting for their first win in the spring – only one point was scored in the last three games – the club from the trade fair city already reacted this Saturday. The promotion candidate separated from his complete sporting leadership: Both coach Markus Waldl and sports director Gerald Perzy have to go. This was confirmed by chairman Roland Golger to the OÖ Nachrichten.
A new coach has already been found: Emin Sulimani, previously Waldl’s assistant, has been promoted to boss. The 35-year-old will not only be on the sidelines for the remaining games of the current season, but also in the coming season. The club is still looking for a replacement for sports director Perzy.
You can find out more about this in the House of Commons supplement on Monday.
