When the two police officers wanted to go in, they were already accosted by a man at the entrance. The bar operator (38) came along, complained aggressively about the control and was in no way insightful. When recording the data, a guest (32) suddenly got involved and punched one of the officers in the face.
When they wanted to arrest him, the 38-year-old came back and put the officer who had just been beaten in a “headlock”. The police had to use pepper spray to stop the attacks. With the help of a second patrol, the men were finally overpowered and arrested.
In the Landhaushof police station, the bar operator was given the opportunity to wash the pepper spray off his face. On the way to the toilet he threatened an officer.
Both police officers received outpatient treatment at UKH Klagenfurt. The arrested persons are being investigated on suspicion of attempted resistance against state authority, serious bodily harm and against the 38-year-old also because of dangerous threats.
