It can be danced again. The Upper Austrian Ball will take place this year on May 21st in the festive ambience of the Vienna City Hall – for the first time after a two-year break due to the pandemic.
Some of the musical highlights of the evening have already been determined: the local trio Folkshilfe will perform, as will Linz DJ Rene Rodrigezz. The festival “Woodstock der Blasmusik” from the partner region Innviertel will be guests with some representatives. Further program items are yet to be announced.
Governor Thomas Stelzer (VP) has taken over the honorary protection for the traditional event, which is taking place for the 119th time this year. He describes the ball as a “sign of joie de vivre, togetherness, confidence and hope – especially in difficult times of crisis”.
