“The international community has made its commitment to expanding the package of military support to Ukraine and exploring new ways to strengthen Ukraine’s armed forces in the longer term,” the Defense Ministry said in a statement.
This includes the provision of increasingly capable air and sea defense systems, artillery, armored vehicles, as well as training and logistical support, the statement said. The British Ministry of Defense in London did not provide precise information about the quantity and type of the planned arms deliveries. According to London, more than 35 countries took part in the conference on Thursday.
Great Britain also announced that it would work with Poland, the USA and other partners to provide longer-term international support.
According to Defense Minister Christine Lambrecht, Germany has so far delivered weapons worth more than 80 million euros to Ukraine. More will follow, Lambrecht said during a visit to New York.
