Is that our new chancellor? ORF breakdown amuses the network

A little faux pas by the “Zeit im Bild” editors amused Twitter users over the weekend. For a contribution under the motto “How secure is the energy supply”, affected entrepreneurs were asked about the consequences of a possible gas supply stop. The managing director of a laundry would like more predictability in front of the ORF cameras. “I don’t know if I’ll get gas next week, what should I tell my employees?” the entrepreneur complains.

“Has changed a bit”

The short sequence was apparently taken from an article for the business magazine ECO. However, with a small blemish. Because what immediately catches the eye of attentive viewers: the name displayed in the insert does not match the face. “Karl Nehammer, Federal Chancellor, ÖVP” can be clearly read on the so-called “belly bandage”.

Malicious comments were not long in coming on Twitter. “Do we have a new one yet? Did I miss something?” writes one user, while another says: “Has changed a bit, the Nehammer”. Another notes: “The Chancellery has the Lord Nehammer really taken a hit!” and a fourth believes he knows the reason for it with a wink: “It must have happened when we met Klitschko”.

And what does the entrepreneur himself have to say about it? The bad jokes wouldn’t hurt him, he joins the Twitter discussion, but also notes: “Good behavior is obviously in short supply”.
