Sarah S. was so badly injured that she was flown to the Kepler University Hospital in Linz by rescue helicopter. She died there a little later. The 49-year-old driver denied having anything to do with the woman’s accident. He stated that he had avoided the 28-year-old’s skidding car and thus left the road.
