New dual leadership in the Salzwelten

The Salzwelten have a new management duo in Helga Pucher and Barbara Winkelbauer. The two women replace Kurt Reiter, who left the company after 17 years.

Salzwelten GmbH is a 100 percent subsidiary of Salinen Austria AG. She is responsible for the operation and marketing of the show mines in Salzburg, Hallstatt and Altaussee. There are also Salzwelten shops at the locations, a shop in Bad Ischl, an online shop and the funicular in Hallstatt. With almost 100 employees in the summer season, Salzwelten GmbH generated sales of around 15 million euros before Corona.

Helga Pucher, previously Head of Marketing, wants to develop the show mines and shops into all-day destinations and open up new target groups. In addition, further business areas are to be explored and developed.

In addition to her duties as CFO of Salinen Austria AG, Barbara Winkelbauer will continue to take care of the finances of the Salzwelten, but will also play an active role in operational matters. Pucher’s previous deputy, Heidi Illmer, will take over as Marketing Manager of Salzwelten. In addition to his tasks in the Salzkammergut site management, Philipp Schwarz takes over the HR department. Harald Pernkopf is responsible for the newly created PR and corporate communications department.
