The official added that Beijing should “draw the right lessons” of the West’s coordinated response to Ukraine, in the sense that any move by China to take by force the democratically ruled island of Taiwan, it would not be acceptable.
“We hope that the People’s Republic of China understands that any such action would receive a response from the international community, not just the United States.”he pointed.

China refused to condemn Russia’s action in Ukraine or call it an invasion. and also criticized Western sanctions on Moscow, although a senior Chinese diplomat said last week that Beijing is not deliberately circumventing such punitive measures..
Beijing and Moscow have developed increasingly close ties in recent years., including the announcement of a “no limits” partnership in February.
