His tail was broken and all his claws pulled: The one-year-old tomcat from an Innviertler had to endure a lot in the past few weeks. It began on March 3rd when an unknown person injured the four-legged friend so badly on the tail that the vet had to amputate it. Only a stub remained.
After the horrific incident, the 23-year-old owner fitted his pet with a GPS tracker. When the cat went missing again earlier this week, he found him using a tracking system in a yard next to an animal body recycling container in the municipality of Burgkirchen (Braunau district) – again seriously injured. All of the cat’s claws had been pulled out.
There is currently no trace of the perpetrator. The Mauerkirchen police are asking for relevant information on 059133/4208.
