The man from the Linz-Land district was checked at 8.50 a.m. by a police patrol in St. Florian on the L566. Various drug symptoms were found in the 25-year-old. A voluntary on-site urine screening test was positive for cocaine.

The man also took his 11-month-old son with him. Because of the bad weather and the fact that nobody could pick up the baby, the boy was brought to his wife’s nearby workplace by the officers with the father’s consent.

The drug driver was then found by the medical officer to be unfit to drive. The man’s driver’s license was provisionally confiscated. In addition, a complaint was filed under the Narcotic Substances Act.
