Flows at a generally high air pressure level on Monday drier and milder air from the west. This means that the weather is quite sunny across the country. In the eastern half alone, in the still cooler north flow, some dense cloud fields will arrive during the day, but they will dissipate again in the afternoon. Overall it is slightly windy. The current turns from the west on Tuesday to the south, so it will be significantly milder at all altitudes, also slightly föhn on the north side of the Alps. At the eastern edge of the Alps, the wind from easterly directions is noticeably picking up. Overall, it will remain quite sunny during the day, only in the west will medium-high cloud fields pass by. Early temperatures minus three to plus three degrees. The daily maximum temperatures reach 15 to 23 degrees, it is warmest in the west.

In the middle of the week, there will be high air pressure in most parts of the country on Wednesday again for bright sunny and dry weather. Thin veil clouds that occasionally decorate the sky are hardly disturbing. Only in Vorarlberg and Tyrol do you occasionally notice a few cumulus clouds over the mountain peaks in the afternoon. However, the probability of one or two short showers is low. The wind from east to south will blow moderately to briskly, especially in the Vienna Basin and on the eastern edge of the Alps. After zero to nine degrees in the morning, the temperatures rise to 17 to 25 degrees during the day, again it is warmest in the west.

Apart from a few harmless cumulus clouds in between or extensive thin cloud fields in high layers, the weather presents itself on Maundy Thursday until the evening again from its sunny and above all also dry side. Only during the evening hours do local rain showers occasionally set in over the western mountain peaks. The wind comes from east to south and blows weak to moderate, sometimes brisk in the east. With the precipitation, however, the wind is increasingly shifting to southwest to west. The temperatures in the morning are between three and eight degrees. Afternoon temperatures range from 18 to 24 degrees. This time it is warmest in the southeast and south.

Clouds from a cold front are spreading Good Friday in the morning from the northwest to almost all parts of the country. There will only be sunshine in the south and south-east and initially also occasionally in the eastern lowlands. Rain and rain showers will also set in with the clouds, which will slowly spread towards the east until the evening. It remains dry for the time being only south of the main Alpine ridge. The wind from west to north will blow weak to moderate. In the morning there are five to ten degrees, by the afternoon warming up to 14 to 23 degrees, it is warmest again in southern Styria.
