A 50-year-old Polish citizen, who was wanted with a European arrest warrant, was arrested by the State Criminal Police Office of Upper Austria. The Pole was sentenced to 2 years and 6 months in prison by a Polish court in 2019 for selling stolen vehicle parts. The man, who owns a workshop with his wife in Warsaw, is said to have dismantled stolen vehicles into individual parts and then sold them for a profit on various Internet platforms. With his Polish transport company, he delivered the stolen vehicle parts to various customers in Italy. At around 8:30 a.m. today, the target investigators managed to arrest the wanted man in Oberneukirchen – he was taken to the Linz prison to be extradited.
