After the torso round of the previous week, all games could be played again this time. The title fight in the national league is very close, as Ostermiething and Andorf will make up the climb among themselves. In the district league, five clubs, four of them from the Innviertel, have a chance of winning the championship.
State League West
A racy game can be expected next Saturday in Esternberg when the table leader from Ostermiething is a guest. The Sauwald violets flirt with at least one point. SK Schärding is the favorite in the home game against Kammer, at least on paper. Is there a sense of achievement for Spg. Braunau/Ranshofen? It could go against Schwanenstadt, who is twelfth in the table. FC Andorf mustn’t lose any ground in the fight for the title, which is why a three-pointer is “must” in the home game against Peuerbach.
District League West
The local derby between Union Gurten 1b and SK Altheim is all about “surviving”. Both teams need a complete win to get out of the relegation zone. A game with a lot of effort on both sides is to be expected! The initial situation is similar in the game Munzkirchen against Munderfing. Eggelsberg/M. has a tough nut to crack, leader of the table St. Marienkirchen/Wallern 1b is a guest in the upper Innviertel. Derby time also in Senftenbach. The guests from St. Martin will do everything to spoil the “master soup” for their local rivals.
1st class Southwest
Table leaders Neuhofen can hope for another three points in the away game at penultimate Lohnsburg. Mehrnbach is favorite in the derby against Obernberg and would like to keep the top 3 place. St. Pantaleon, bottom of the table, expects at least a “mini-chance” in the home game against Mattighofen, who is seventh in the table. Handenberg welcomes second-placed Lochen and will do anything to at least not lose.
1. Northwest
After the draw in Lambrecht in the home game against St. Roman, leader Riedau wants to get back on the road to victory. Diersbach is a slight favorite in the duel against Freinberg, who is ninth in the table, and could catch up with the top trio. Lambrechten makes a guest appearance at penultimate St. Marienkirchen/Sch. and works out three points.
1. Midwest
Leader Hohenzell shouldn’t have any major problems in the away game at stragglers ESV Wels, another step towards the title could succeed. The grapes are hanging high for the Pramer Kicker, Gallspach, who is second in the table, is a guest on Holy Saturday. Peterskirchen has to compete in the fourth Blaue Elf Wels and would be happy to win a point.
2nd class West
It remains to be seen whether table leader Waldzell will find a “gmahde Wiesn” in the derby against Polling (13th place). But it could also be a goal festival. Mettmach will probably be lost in the derby against Pattigham. Schildorn welcomes Bruckmühl at home, so winning a point is definitely realistic. Should Aspach/W. finish the long trip to Zell am Pettenfirst victorious, an improvement in the table would be possible.
2. West North
Schardenberg makes a guest appearance on Holy Saturday in the neighborhood derby at ATSV Schärding, who is second in the table. The guests could make a “jump forward” in the table if they were successful. In the second pure Schärdinger Derby, St. Willibald welcomes the third-placed player from St. Agatha. Aurolzmünster wants to rehabilitate after the 1: 4 home defeat at the weekend. It is questionable whether opponent St. Aegidi will play along.
2nd Class Southwest
The game between Feldkirchen/M. and Uttendorf. Losing forbidden, it means for both teams. Mining/Mühlheim are guests at Mauerkirchen, who are at the bottom of the table and could get a single-digit place in the table if they win. The game between Tarsdorf (fourth) and Pischelsdorf (5th place) promises to be exciting. St. Peter/H. has to compete with the home strong Geretsbergern and hopes for at least one point. St. Radegund has home advantage against table neighbors Friedburg Juniors.
