The Slovakian from the Zell am See district had 1.62 per mille and her five-year-old daughter in the car. She wanted to overtake the car of a 48-year-old Styrian, lost control of her vehicle and collided with the other car, the police reported on Sunday.
The other car was thrown into the left lane, crashed into the concrete central barrier and came to a standstill in the opposite direction of travel. The 35-year-old’s car turned several times and stopped in the middle of the two lanes. Nobody got hurt. The woman told the police that she was traveling at 130 to 140 km/h in the previous construction site area, where an 80 limit applies. Her driver’s license was taken away.
