Mauerkirchen can still do it!

At least a small sign of life gave some “dead” last Easter weekend. In the 2nd Southwest, Mauerkirchen, who was at the bottom of the field, celebrated a 3-0 win against Mining/M. In the western district league, Dorf/Pram in Gmunden were able to celebrate a point, while the Braunau/Ranshofen syndicate celebrated a sensational 4-1 win against Schwanenstadt.

State League West

Table leader Ostermiething welcomes table bottom Pettenbach next Saturday. With another win, the championship lead could perhaps even be extended. Chaser Andorf has to compete in Schwanenstadt and after the meager draw against Peuerbach, he absolutely needs a “Three”. On Saturday, the duel of the “tail lights” will take place in Dorf an der Pram. Spg is a guest Braunau/Ranshofen, both teams celebrated surprising wins last weekend.

District League West

It’s all about big points in relegation next Friday: Munderfing (13th) meets second-bottom Union Gurten 1b at home. A draw doesn’t do any team any good, both desperately need wins. 1st class Southwest

In the hit of the round, Pfaffstätt, third in the table, welcomes the leader from Jeging. The guests could fix the next step towards the title. The away game in Uttendorf will show whether Mauerkirchen’s “Easter success” was just a flash in the pan. The duel between the Friedburg/Pöndorf Juniors and Tarsdorf also promises to be exciting. After the 1:5 defeat in Geretsberg, St. Peter hopes to make amends in the away game in Schwand.
