The emission-free SUV coupe with a wheelbase of 2.9 meters is very spacious and has “E-Axle technology” on board – front and rear.
This is a compact, modular component consisting of an electric motor, a gearbox and a control unit. The system output is 230 kW; the battery has a capacity of 71.4 kilowatt hours (kWh). Since the two electric axles work together, the Lexus RZ 450e has all-wheel drive on board.
The torque distribution between the front and rear axles can be adjusted within milliseconds in the range from 0:100 to 100:0.
The optional “Yoke” steering wheel is unique: it requires less steering effort – only a 150-degree turn is required from the middle position to the left or right stop; it is not necessary to reach over the hand.
