After 25 years of professional experience in different areas, Bernhard Strauch and Richard Hauck founded “Aysail GmbH – Yachtservice im Salzkammergut” in April. “Our dream is to establish Aysail Yachtservice as a kind of Formula 1 workshop with satisfactory advice and support,” the two entrepreneurs explain.
In her free time, her heart has always belonged to water sports. They spent every free minute on or in the water and studied the different types of boats, enjoyed races and got to know the joys and pitfalls of sailing. The yacht service entrepreneurs and their team have set themselves the goal of offering customers the best possible service, primarily to support them with maintenance and restoration, as well as with storage and the purchase and sale of boats.
“For us, it is important to help adults in all aspects of sailing and to get involved with children and young people,” emphasizes Bernhard Strauch. “We are happy to pass our experience on to you.” This also includes helping the organizers as a sponsor. Aysail co-founder Richard Hauck emphasizes the work in the team and the cooperation with the surrounding sailing companies.
The Austrian offshore sailor and Golden Globe racer Michael Guggenberger is also supporting on board. “One of the nicest things about sailing is the multifaceted nature of the issues associated with it,” explains the professional sailor. “I am therefore very pleased to support the Aysail Yacht Service team and to be able to contribute my diverse know-how,” says “Captain Gugg”.
