The Madritsch squad hardly found any chances to score, and the guests didn’t have many chances either. It got really exciting at the end of the game. Gurten’s Florian Schütz was able to clear the ball in dire need ten minutes before the end, on the other side Gurten’s Rene Wirth failed to get the ball over the line from just three meters away.
With the 4:2 home win against Spittal an der Drau, the Young Vikings took a big step towards staying up in the league. Match winner for the second team of SV Ried was Robin Ungerath with three goals. Captain Julian Baumgartner scored the fourth goal.
A goal-rich game was seen in Grieskirchen. the voltage Friedburg/Pöndorf gave a 2-0 break lead out of hand. The race to catch up began in the 65th minute, four minutes before the end of the game Grieskirchen was 4:2 in front, Mersudin Jukic was able to reduce the deficit to 4:3 in the final minute.
