The Steinbach Black Wings are strengthening their defense with four-time Austrian champion Martin Schumnig. The Carinthian, who has only been on the ice for KAC throughout his career, is leaving Klagenfurt for the first time in the new season and has signed for the Black Wings.
In addition to Dennis Sticha, Schumnig is the second KAC crack who will play for the Black Wings in the coming season. The 32-year-old was champion with the Red Jackets in 2008/09, 2012/13, 2018/19 and 2020/21.
