On the other hand, Keindl also recommends that the winners “don’t snap and don’t keep playing”. However, what the supervisor always refrains from are investment tips, instead he advises talking to a bank supervisor.
Keindl considers the four-week waiting period until a large prize is paid out to be important. He advises people to make a list of what they want to do with the money during this time. Often it is then that you want to support family members or donate part of the amount. “But I also say to the winners, ‘Treat yourself – you deserve it'”.
But Keindl also has strange things to tell. About the Austrian who drank two bottles of wine after seeing his correct numbers on TV. He had stowed the player’s receipt under his pillow before going to bed. After waking up in the morning slightly hung over and missing the receipt, he thought he had only dreamed of winning. Only when he found the receipt behind the bed a week later did his true dream come true.
