“We make games” is the name of the pilot project that pupils in the 4th grade of the PMS St. Anna carried out in cooperation with the Foundation for Economic Education and the game design agency Playful Solutions. They dealt with game concepts on economic and financial topics. The topics were “handling money”, “realizing entrepreneurial ideas” and “exploring sustainable economic relationships”. In small groups, the young people developed card, board and online games with joy and enthusiasm in a six-hour workshop with the team of teachers. Hybrid support for the seven groups came from the Playful Solution Team and a team from the Foundation for Economic Education, who provided inputs on games designs. A jury of experts gave constructive feedback and rewarded each “Game Maker” with a certificate.
