For them, the dream is within reach: Judith Lisa Bogusch, Stefan Eigner and Sebastian Holzer sing for victory in the Starmania finale on Friday from 8:15 p.m. on ORF 1. They have convinced both the jury and the audience of their talent over the past few weeks.
Who decides?
Whoever wins the country’s largest singing competition is decided solely by the audience: after two solo songs by the last three “Starmaniacs”, including their respective favorite titles from the final shows, the votes are cast via televoting. The audience can vote on 09010 5909 and the respective start number (€0.50/call/SMS). This is how it is decided which two candidates will be on stage in the final round with one last – self-written – song each.
What are the finalists showing?
Judith Lisa Bogusch is the only woman in the final. The 21-year-old student from Matrei in Osttirol will sing “Don’t Start Now” by Dua Lipa and “Der Weg” by Herbert Grönemeyer in the first final round. Should she heave the audience in round two, she sings her own song “Zug zurück”. The Viennese-by-choice would be particularly happy about that. She thinks that she is in the final “heavy, but cool”.
Stephen owner is the oldest among the finalists at 22 years old. The karaoke DJ rehearsed Nick Jonas’ “Jealous” and Sam Smith’s “Writing’s on the Wall” for the final show that he would have come this far, he “didn’t expect in life”.
Sebastian Holzer from Payerbach in Lower Austria completes the trio of finalists. The 21-year-old student of health and nursing starts with “Honey, I’m Good” by Andy Grammer and “Take off your shoes” by Roger Cicero. If he gets into the second final round, he’ll be on stage with “write a Liad”. In the last show he wants to give everything again.

What else does the audience expect?
There will also be a reunion with numerous candidates who have been eliminated in the final shows – they will be on stage together with the song “Let’s Go Crazy” from the film “Sing 2”. As usual, the evening will be hosted by Arabella Kiesbauer.
Ö3 star and commentator Philipp Hansa provides relaxation. Also making their last appearance on “Starmania 22” is the Fix jury: hit singer and “Amadeus” award winner Josh. as well as artist and model Lili Paul-Roncalli evaluate the performances together with the last guest judge – the musical high-flyer Mathea.
