emergency is exploited
Nationwide there are already several victims who came across the locksmith by searching the internet and called the 0800 number. Despite previously agreed prices, the on-site service staff then suddenly demanded a much higher sum, taking advantage of the victims’ plight. The latter should register under the number 059133/4133-200 report to the police, was the call.
Spotted two Turks
In extensive investigations, police officers from the Haid inspection department have now been able to track down two other suspects in the criminal organization. A 27-year-old Turk who lived in Germany has been in custody in the Linz prison since Thursday. His 24-year-old compatriot from Germany was reported at large. All in all, the suspects could already be proven to have illegally earned income in the five-digit euro range. The surveys are still being continued, said the State Police Directorate on Friday.
